This week has been a sensational journey of not knowing whether I’m coming or going. Whether I’m putting carts before wild horses or perhaps wildly riding bridled ones, tethered to the spot I’m desperately trying to escape.
I’ve been running around like a chicken with her head cut off (or an egg without a shell? 🤔🫠) for the past couple of weeks and I have to admit my works-in-progress have been works-in-patience because they are sometimes the last thing I can get to during the day. However, as I’m settling into this summer season, the work is finding a groove that I think I can actually keep up with. It’s a rhythm that’s making time for all the things that bring me joy: words, words, and more words.
One thing for certain and two things for sure is that a good book will take your mind to wherever it needs to be and bringing a good book on a trip will take it even further! As I’ll be traveling this weekend, I am looking forward to all of the reading I’ll get to do while I’m en route to Paris. I’m looking forward to soaking up the French literary culture while I’m there and sharing all my bookish finds with you all. So today is a short one, but check out Sunday’s video if you haven’t already!
Until next week, I hope this newsletter finds you well and with all the right words.
Thank you as always for reading and for being here. :)
